+What is Snapfood?
Snapfood is an online campaign initiated by IAAS Indonesia that aims to encourage society especially the youth to appreciate their food and what farmers have worked for simply by taking picture or video of your food before and after you finish the food. We believe that by finishing the food without leaving any waste is the littlest thing which brings a wide impact to appreciate all agriculture role on how the food is processed.
+When will be The Snapfood online campaign started?
It will be started by the day we celebrate World Food Day on October 16th.
FYI, IAAS Indonesia has decided to make it to a sustainable campaign. So, we will start the campaign on October 16th and will be officially activated on October 25th. Then it will be sustainable by posting it every Saturday by October 31st.
+Who can join this campaign?
Everyone is welcomed to join Snapfood! Why would we make limitation to appreciate food and agriculture?
Go get your food and take the before after snap to prove that you make zero food waste!

Alhamdulillah all is finally done. Big thanks to the Professors and lecturers who had guided and led the committee, and to all my fellow student committee for the awesome work before and during the event. Thank you for the trust at appointing me the Welcoming Dinner MC job and the designer of backdrop, banner and program book. 😁✌
It was not an easy task to be a committee as well as participant at the same time but it was well worth it. Hard work never betrays. This kind of event humbles me as there is so many things in plant breeding that I still need to improve in. This event also gives me inspiration to do more work in this field and hope one day to become a lecturer (aamiin 🙏 hopefully).
Thank you for the kind words and compliment during the MC and paper presentation time. 😊 however, I still need to learn how to make a good international publication. Hope this event inspires us all to do improve our work. On the left is @erik_mulya aka #erikneverstop my senior in AGH who’s travelled Europe and US plus he’s already finished his Master’s Thesis on time.
Next is the new drh @rioang89 who’s just finished his DVM comprehension test and now a legit vet! He’s going away for Master’s in Edinburgh on Friday. On the far right is @annisaa_potter my senior since junior high. She just launched her book Student Traveller about her adventures travelling. She’s been to 21 country in 5 years! (Review of her book coming soon in blog 😊)
All of them are super inspiring in their own way. ❤ It doesn’t make me jealous though, it makes me more motivated to do something great in my own field of work and expertise. Since the best thing we can do for others is to support and inspire each other in life.
